Capital One / Experiential / Happé Café

How does a finance company help people save money during the cost of living crisis and avoid frittering it away through much needed “retail therapy” in and around Oxford Circus?

By creating the Happé Café – The world’s first dopamine inducing cafe! With free food and drink, singing baristas, bubbles, puppy videos, deckchairs, photo ops and more, we helped people avoid costly shopping sprees and replace their dopamine high for free instead. We even placed it in Oxford Circus to capture people where they might be most tempted to spend money that they really should be saving. An experience provided to Londoners by Capital One as part of their “One Good Thing” campaign designed to help their customers during a difficult time for everyone.

We created an identity for the cafe based on the fonts and colours used in the latest “One Good Thing” campaign then we went about inviting press down and directing people using digital ads at Oxford Circus tube to catch people heading off on a potential shopping spree!

We also created a promotional banner for the facebook page as well as online banners for the website.

Then, for 2 days, we served free dopamine inducing food and drink alongside all of our sensorial activations to spread a little happé!

We created branded assets for the event from menus to activation areas and time slots.
