A Bit About Me

I am an award-winning, freelance Senior Conceptual Creative / Creative Director with over 20 years experience at a vast array of London marketing and advertising agencies. I am from a design and art direction background originally which means that I can deliver strong conceptual ideas using scamps, as well as effective oversight of layouts and typography. However, I am also highly skilled and adept at writing engaging and thought-provoking copy – including creative rationales, pitch deck narratives, manifestos, scripts and short form copy. I pride myself on my meticulous attention to detail and determination to create work that the media and general public want to talk about. I also have a wealth of experience in working with strategists to help turn creative propositions into compelling campaigns.

When I'm not working I mostly spend my time as a Dad to my two beautiful children. I also sing and play the guitar (I used to be John Lennon in a Beatles tribute band), am a long-suffering supporter of Stoke City and absolutely love a pub. Oh, I’m also the proud owner of a Blue Peter badge…
