Hulu / Helstrom / Social Campaign

How do you promote Hulu and Marvel’s TV series Helstrom in a way that will entice it’s huge comic book fanbase on social media?

By creating a campaign that demonstrates the powers of the main characters in the social posts themselves as well as highlighting the connections and duality of the characters using darkness and light.


Face Your Demons

To kick off the campaign and introduce Marvel fans to the stars of the new show, we custom shot content designed to get under the skin of the actors playing our latest super(natural)heroes. We posed the trickiest questions we could think of as we forced them to publicly face their demons…


Then we introduced a whole array of custom shot content featuring the stars in character using their powers to seemingly vibrate, shatter and crack the users smartphone screens using social stories and in-feed videos.




Finally, we custom shot moving light across characters faces in the darkness to intersperse connecting characters and illustrate their duality.
